Feedback from the attendees:

"Thanks for a great class -  it was a good mix of theory and practical experience. Highly recommend to anyone specifying or working with pumps"

Mark Will, ConocoPhillips Refinery

"Lev, - Thank you for a very informative class, I learned a lot.  I come from the electronics industry so this was my first immersion into the world of pumps.  I have a much better understanding now and will review the manual this week.
Best regards
Eric Ford, Graphite Metallizing Co
.

"I think that this class was very interesting and more detailed than other training classes I have taken. All other classes usually went over the basic material and when I ask to go into details on certain things, they would tell you that they don't want to get into details. Dr. Nelik had no problem with going into details or answering questions pertaining to problems that we were having on our actual equipment. I really enjoyed his class which made understanding the theory and rules of thumb seem simple"

Tony McQueen, Coca Cola, Atlanta

"Great class. Great presentation"

Lance Clark, Manager of Engineering, City of Atlanta, Water and Wastewater

"Animated, enthusiastic presentation style, good balance between theory and hands-on. I will recommend this training also to Fossil, Hydro and other areas of our division, including equipment components, plant, and design base"

Carlos Vidinha, Senior Design Engineer, Ontario Power Generation, Nuclear Division, Canada

"Dr. Nelik,  - Thank you so very much for the info. I am glad I attended the class and got to know you. What I learned in the class and the info I gathered are all directly helpful for my job. Your web site is also very informative - I know I can learn a lot there. Please keep me posted on the news in this area. Thanks!"
Howard Lee, General Electric, Energy Division, Houston, TX

"Lev, - I found your seminar very informative and consider my two days spent with you a wise investment.  I learned the most from being able to work with actual pumps; sometimes reading about the mechanics just doesn’t cut it, as my imagination and visualization skills can only go so far.  I have a feeling I will be referring back to my notes for years to come. Thank you again for a great seminar. Best Regards,"

Leslie Fowells, Regional Sales Manager, Roper Pump Company, Commerce, GA

"I enjoyed the class. There was a good mix of hands-on and theory to keep it interesting to me. I do not do much hands-on personally, but I like to do it. For a refresher, this was excellent. Your enthusiasm for the subject is impressive"

Mike Connell, Northrop Grumman, Newport News, VA

"I thing the class was really, really good. I enjoyed the maintenance part especially. Ten points, Lev!"

Gary Poston, US Air Force, FL

"Nice selection of pumps in class, a good way of showing the design details. Dr. Nelik is very knowledgeable of his practice and - entertaining as well, with a sense of humor. He is an excellent "hands-on-and-theory" type of an instructor"

Chuck Troup, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Chesterton, IL

"A good refresher course on pumps. I did not know much about the hydraulics, and formulas. I feel much better about that after the class. Class would be very helpful to many of our mechanics and maintenance crew"

Gary Hardin, US Steel, Gary, IN

"It was interesting to have a "Pre-Test" at the beginning of the class. I changed 50% of my "Pre-Test" answers, after the class, of the same "Post-Class" questionnaire test"

Jeff Claus, Dynegy Midwest Power Generation Plant

"Very practical class, hands-on work helps connect with the theory. For us in maintenance, it helps think through the actual problems we have with pumps and find a solution".

Johnny Lee, Maintenance Manager, Utoy Creek Waste Treatment Plant, Atlanta, GA

"Outstanding! Hands-on was great... He knows pumps... Great instructor, recommend him to any class... The Good Doctor is very knowledgeable and very practicable... This guy is awesome... I would have liked to see him 3 days instead of the 2 he was here".

From attendees of Pump School, US Merchant Marine Academy, Long Island, NY

"Thanks! I learned a lot at the Pump School. It was fast paced and very informative. I think we covered my junior years in engineering school during the first day! I was exhausted by the end of the session, but felt a lot more confident, and felt that I got a strong foundation on how and why pumps work. I look forward to attending one of your courses in the near future again, just to reinforce what I know and to fill in the blanks on what I don't know. By then I will have a lot more questions to ask and to answer. Your practical problem solving sessions based on real life situations introduced by the attendees  was really thought provoking".

Jim Tallia, President, Anchor Sales Associates, a Pump Distributor in South Jersey.

"Lev, thanks for the class, it was great! Enclosed I am sending you the pictures of the triplex pumps that I showed you, - really old stuff that works great".
Dan Taylor, Fiber Esters Team Manager, Eastman Chemical,
Kingsport, TN

"Thank you, Dr. Nelik, for teaching the course on positive displacement pumps and I'm sure even those who use or repair PD pumps every day, learned something new. I appreciate your Tech Notes as well and would like to be kept on your distribution list for similar notes in the future. Thank you!"

Wendy Lick, PE, Plant Engineering, Eastman Chemical, Kingsport, TN

"Hello Dr. Nelik: Thank you so much for a very practical course. I learned a great deal and found it very useful. You are very enthusiastic about pumps and it shows. That makes for great teaching and a wonderful experience in your class. Glad to have had the opportunity to be one of your students.  Sincerely,"
    Mary Holzmann, Engineering,
KeySpan, Northport Power Station, Long Island, NY

"Everyone that attended thought that the class was great and recommended it for others in the operation...  When we set up the next training class we should go to a three day event. One day on pump theory and two days of hands on experience. We may also want to pursue specific pump troubleshooting practices for Crafts and Supervisors".

Al Shea, Sr. Process Support Manager, Anheuser-Busch, Newark Brewing, NJ

"We use many centrifugal and positive displacement pumps at our plant in Mexico. Dr. Nelik's course was very helpful. We did a lot of practical hands-on work, which reinforced the theory, especially pumps parallel operation, performance and various pump types.  I was able to apply what I learned back at work, immediately... Great course, - and fun too, even though it is intense".

Juan Canales, Maintenance Engineer, Soluziona, Sonora, Mexico
