************************************************************************************************

Have you ever wondered what's the difference between a REPAIR and an UPGRADE of a pump? Each term has to do with making a pump better. But this is how Webster's dictionary differentiates them:

REPAIR: "to put back in good condition, to fix, to renew". And so,  "repairmen" are defined as "men whose work is repairing things"

But, compare this with:

UPGRADE: "to raise or improve in value, rank, quality"

A repair shop that comes on time, repairs quickly and at a good price - is a good start. But if a short time later the pump is ready for another repair, again - not good enough. Chronic pump problems should not be allowed to be continually repaired - they must be fixed once and for all - and that is what differentiates a Repair job from an Upgrade.

Pumping Machinery focus is on Engineered Upgrades - to improve pumps reliability record - not just patch them up and hope for the best.
